Launch Day at ThatCarolJones

UPDATE:  AND THE WINNER IS:  CATHY HENRY
It's Launch Day at ThatCarolJones.com and that is so full of awesome goodness I can't stand it! This day has been in the works for months and it's finally here!

I hope you'll take the time to click the links to my other blogs and visit each one today.  There are special giveaways on each blog, and I know you won't want to miss out on all the greatness you'll find there!

If you're a regular reader here, welcome back, and if you're brand new, I'm glad you're here!

Today is a day of celebration so I'm celebrating and giving stuff away!

On "All That to Say" I'm giving away a gift basket from a sweet friend who owns an online shop called Office Candy.  I love her stuff because she makes organizing life fun!

If you want to be entered to win this fun package, all you have to do is follow this blog, leave me a comment that includes a burning parenting question you might have, and then pretty please with sugar on top tweet, post and pin this blog so others will find out about its goodness and follow me too!

All that to say, Happy Launch Day! And thanks for stopping by! (And Zack Jones, thank you for your tireless work to make this happen!)

  4. Parenting question: When you find yourself about to yell at the kids (except I'm sure you don't find yourself in that position... but IF you did) how do you get control so you do NOT yell?

  6. I am a high school teacher and my children are grown and out of the house, so my question is slightly different. I sponsor a club on campus for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, trans gender, and straight kids so they have a safe place to go for lunch or any other time they are being bullied. How would you talk a parent out of kicking their kid out of the house and disowning them because they found out that their child is gay? I have had three students become homeless because of this, and others harassed by angry parents who think that their child was recruited by a gay person.

    1. Sam, I am so glad you asked me this. You'd be surprised how often I get asked this by friends whose children "come out" and by kids who want to "come out" to their parents.
